NGIS is pleased to present the ODEN pollution modelling service for the assessment of the acoustic performance of infrastructure and building projects. To support this, a free seminar/open lecture will be held on the 28th of November 2014 in which NGIS China’s Managing Director Chris Hoar will explain this new web-based approach, its benefits over traditional desktop based assessment practices,key assessment workflows addressed by the system as well as benefits of SaaS over on site software installations.
Furthermore, a free hand-on workshop will also be organized on 13th December 2014 from 10:00 to 12:30 which is open for attendants to register at the seminar in first-come-first-serve basis.
For the seminar/open lecture, Chris will also explain how ODEN can simplify the processes of:
- assessment of acoustic environmental baseline
- assessment of design options
- testing mitigation strategies
- producing output suitable to support reporting and submission
This seminar will be of interest to professionals from architectural, engineering, environmental and planning disciplines.
